James D. HARBISON 75 of Portmills (sic Portland Mills) father of Mrs. Ray RIVERS died on Friday morning following a stroke on Tuesday. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon in the Federated Church in Russellville. Besides Mrs. Rivers, her mother, Mrs. Harbison, two sisters Mrs. Ray George of Covington and Ruth at home and one brother, Donald of Judson mourn his loss.- kbz

Funeral services for J. D. Harbison, who died at his home in Portland Mills, were held Sunday at the Russellville Federated church. He was born in February 1868 the son of Alexander and Agnes Harbison. Survivors are the widow, a son Donald of Portland Mills, daughters, Mrs. Ray Rivers, Waveland, Miss Ruth Harbison of Indianapolis, and seven grandchildren.
